Through their history,geography, and cultural diversity, they form bridges between the European Union and strategic geopolitical areas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">As the future CFP post-2027 begins to take shape, the CPRUP is working to highlight the importance of taking into account the specific characteristics of these remote territories, in particular through the rigorous application of Article 349 of the TFEU and the renewal of the OR strategy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This future strategy must be based on four fundamental principles: flexibility, to adapt policies to local realities; coherence, to integrate the\u00a0 ORs into all Union policies; cohesion, to reduce development gaps; and\u00a0 \u00a0solidarity, a central value of the European project.<\/p>\n<p>Our constant, collective mobilisation and ongoing dialogue with European institutions enable us to represent the views of the millions of citizens we serve.<\/p>\n<p>This voice is that of committed, ambitious regions that offer solutions.
